By exploring microbiome results in individuals with mold exposure, we aim to better understand how environmental mold exposure relates to gut microbiome composition and diversity.
Why This Study Matters
The gut microbiome plays a central role in immune function, metabolism, and overall health. While mold exposure has been linked to a variety of symptoms and conditions, its relationship to the human gut microbiome is not well understood.
This study will help us:
- Examine how gut microbiome profiles differ among individuals with documented mold exposure
- Identify potential microbiome biomarkers of mold exposure
